For many years Courtney's eventing partner, Surprise is now Becky's dressage mount. In addition to "Entering at A" they enjoy hunter paces, long trail rides, and the occasional jumping lesson. This 14.3 hand chestnut Quarter Horse gelding took Courtney to the AECs in 2006, where they achieved a double clear and finished just out of the ribbons. As Surprise faithfully carried Courtney over hill and dale, through water, over ditches, and everywhere in between, and brings Becky much joy in the dressage ring, he has more than earned his forever home at Fox Spring Farm.
